Coldplay’s recent concerts in Ahmedabad and Mumbai have set a new attendance record, surpassing Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour with over 10.3 million tickets sold.
Okay, so listen to this! Coldplay had a huge concert. It happened in Ahmedabad on January 25-26. They sold over 10.3 million tickets. This makes it the biggest tour ever! They have beat the record for attendance. There are still eight months of touring left.
Their tour has more attendees than Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour. The Eras Tour still made more money. It grossed over $2 billion! But, Coldplay might make more later on. They performed for over 223,000 fans in Ahmedabad. It was their biggest show ever.
Coldplay’s tour beat Taylor Swift for ticket sales. Guinness World Records says they sold over 10.3 million. Swift sold 10.1 million tickets. Coldplay’s tour goes until September 2025. So, their numbers will probably get higher. The tour started in March 2022 in Costa Rica.
Their next concert is in Hong Kong this April. They’ll also perform in Seoul before going to the US. Their album, “Music of the Spheres,” came out in 2021. It quickly became the top album in the UK. Coldplay’s tour is now on a list of record-setting concerts.
“Music of the Spheres” is the second-highest grossing tour. But, it could go higher by September! It could possibly pass the Eras Tour total. Coldplay might become the highest grossing tour.
